LOVE 'Silent Night' by Sinead O'Connor
Sinead's version of "Silent Night" and the accompanying scene was very moving and worth the price of admission! I bought the soundtrack for one of my fiance's Christmas gifts.

shareSTILL nobody cares. P.S Your username sucks.
shareLook grouch my name reflects my hobby...collecting 16mm films and I could care less about your PMS induced rants
shareReally? I thought your hobby was posting worthless messages on forums. Silly me! I more apt username for you would be zzzzzzzzzzz. You can easily change it, check the IMDB help section. Or get a grown-up to help you. Ta ta now!
shareI don't know what disease you caught to make you so nasty, but keep it away from me!
shareI'd rather be suffering from that than the one that causes rampant stupidity. I wonder who carries that... (Clue: YOU)
Hey, FilmsRreel, don't let the Grinch get you down. Sinead O'Conner's "Silent Night" was a beautiful ending to a good and satisfying movie, although I do have to say that Enya's "Oiche Diun" is the most beautivul "Silent Night" I have ever heard.

I see FilmsRreel's (Still can't get enough of that name, tee hee) tragic illness is spreading. We must put the two of you in the isolation ward immediately to stop any further outbreaks. It's bad enough that the president has already been afflicted, so don't make things worse. Go on, off you go.
If you'll excuse me, I have to get ready for Christmas Eve. Those presents aren't just gonna steal themselves, you know. All together now: You're a cruel one...
Thank you, Frosty!
shareGRINCH ALERT!!!
Have your Grinch traps out!
Booze probably is the best bait although illegal substances might be even better.

i loved silent night by sinead o'connor it was so sweet
shareHey, the Irish lasses do seem to know just how to bring out the deepest feelings from the song. Sinead and Enya have, IMHO, come out with the most beautiful arrangements. BTW, for those who hanen't hear Enya's "Oiche Diun", she's coming out with a Christmas album which includes that.
Let me be the first to wish you a Merry Christmas! Ho, ho, ho!
I just listened to Enya's version of "Oiche Diun" from "And Winter Came" and you were so right, it's incredibly haunting and beautiful, it might just be the best rendition of it I have ever heard, I didn't care for the movie but I loved Sinead's version and Enya's version, which I wouldn't have heard if it wasn't for your reccomendation, so thank you Frosty, and have a Merry Christmas!

-STRANGE DAYS
Sure, it's ironic, but the song is a beautiful one regardless of one's belief or lack of belief in the lyrics, and she did a beautiful job. I do believe, if I remember correctly that the lyrics were watered down excising the religious content. I might be wrong in my memory...did anyone listen carefully to the words she sang?
Have yourselves a Merry Little Christmas
BubbaClaus - not everyone is Catholic. You could give two sh-ts about the Pope and be a Christian. Doesn't mean she doesn't believe in the story.
