Very underrated film

I love this movie, I don't know why it got 21% on rotten tomatoes! The acting is good, it's funny and it feels like a christmas film

What do u think of the film?

It had some funny moments (eg. Fred's sleeping position on the Elf's bunk and the Brothers Anonymous Group) and seems good for kids (the strongest language I remember was "what the hell!?"), otherwise I thought it was a pretty light film and not something I'd watch again for myself.

I love this movie! My copy was lost & I went out & bought it again! I think it is hilarious at times & beautiful at other times. I would recommend it to anyone!

I'm not a big fan of holiday movies but I really enjoyed this too.

I found out early on that Rotten Tomatoes is BS, so I never let that site dictate what movies I watch.

A boat that floats on water can also sink in it.

This movie is criminally underrated. 5.7? Should easily be around 6.8-7.3. I gave it a 10 to try and drown out some of the 1's.

This movie was very creative, funny, emotional, and beautiful to look at. I found it way better than Elf. I think some people just hate Vince. It's too bad cuz he can act, and he's funny when the material is right.

It's because the people rating the movies are idiots. This is one of my favorite movies ever. Absolutely awesome movie. Awesome cast, great story, etc.

Love it. 5.6 here? crazy.

Was just coming here to post the same thing. Watched it yesterday for about the 4th or 5th time and enjoyed it yet again. Just a light hearted comedy about Christmas and well done for what it was intended to be.

It's all those people from the naughty list getting a little retribution. I had absolutely no urge to see it and only started watching it because I mistook it for another movie. While watching it, I remembered the poor reviews and started to wonder why others hated it. I actually thought it was a great movie with an extremely powerful message, which was clearly missed by those people who require someone else to blame for their own mistakes.

Indeed its very original and a good movie

I kinda agree. It's not a classic, but it's a decent Christmas flick. Didn't deserve 21% on Rotten Tomatoes.

I just watched it for the first time.

It's fairly good. Not a classic or A-level Christmas film, but also not bad and not deserving of a Rotten rating on RT.

It has some good production design, clever moments, and good cast and performances. Also, Rachel Weisz looks great.

I'd give it a 7/10 probably. Didn't feel like I wasted my time and I'll probably look back around to it again a few years down the road.
