what a slap in the face to the other actors in this film using it as one big prop to pimp out this new character for a potential spin-off movie. It never felt like their movie. I enjoyed it. It was entertaining but they definitely second fiddle to this CGI creation and as you see the plans to spin this off did not pan out
shareJust for your information, the Surfer was NOT a CG creation. He was played by actor Doug Jones wearing a prosthetic suit designed by Jose Fernandez and created by Oscar-nominated FX shop Spectral Motion. The only CG involved was a silver sheen enhancement by WETA Digital. In some scenes there is no CG at all, other than to fade the joins in the suit and the give the Surfer his enigmatic eyes.

the silver surfer is incredibly cool but this film doesn't reflect that at all - and that's the biggest reason this film is terrible
shareI really want a Silver Surfer movie, but it would need to be rebooted. I didn't like this movie much, and they could have handled the Surfer much better.
