Doomed: The Untold Story of Roger Corman’s The Fantastic Four is a feature length documentary tracking the history of the troubled 1994 adaptation of The Fantastic Four. Check out the sneak peek below.

Before the big studios like 20th Century Fox, Sony Pictures and Warner Bros. realized you could make billions from adapting comic books into motion pictures, there was a German producer named Bernd Eichinger. He envisioned comic book movies as blockbusters and his company purchased the film rights to the Fantastic Four from Stan Lee. The problem is that his company didn’t have the funds to make a big-budget Hollywood movie. So, Eichinger hired Roger Corman, most known for his low-budget B movies, to produce it.

The film starred Alex Hyde-White as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic, Jay Underwood as Johnny Storm/Human Torch, Rebecca Staab as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Michael Bailey Smith as Ben Grimm, Carl Ciarfalio as the Thing and Joseph Culp as Dr. Victor Von Doom.

The website includes a Trailer. Looks like a lot of the cast and crew returned for this.

This film is getting a Special Documentary, and yet still hasn't had an official release. Granted it's not very good, but there's an audience for everything.
