Spoiler: General Hager

Anyone else caught off guard by the brutal way Doom blew him apart? Not that I have a problem with violence in movies, but it seemed strangely out of place to see such graphic violence.

reply

Well deserved death in my opinion. The guy was an ahole.

reply

It didn't really surprise me. If anything it was karma coming back to bite him. He considered the sadistic megalomaniac with superpowers more trustworthy than the world-renowned heroes with superpowers? Really? What a maroon.

Logan, buddy. It's me, Deadpool! I shot youuuuuu....

reply

The only thing that surprised me was how the filmmakers got away with that in a PG movie.

Dammit, Trudy, what about the pineapple?!?

reply

The way he behaved you could almost predict a nasty death for him.

reply

I'm not gonna lie. In the theater, we were laughing out loud at that scene. Then you have the scene when they discover his body and he's just sitting there and we cracked up again! The funniest scene in the movie.

reply

The scene is kind of shocking. Very dark and out of tone with the rest of the movie. The guy was a prick but he didn't deserve a death like that. The scene with him unloading his full clip like a maniac was equally WTF. Everything with the army was pretty dumb in this movie. That scene where they're talking about quarterbacks is especially derpy.

"I said no camels, that's five camels, can't you count?"
