So every time somebody tries to hit the insane cop ghost on the head..

Things get blurry and the girl ends up in the car once again?
I really don't understand this part
How was she back in the car after the tow truck guy saved her but got frozen to death. She reaches his tow truck and that's when the mad cop tries to get her again but her dead stalker hits him on the head and she's back in the car with the stalker's dead body next to her.
I DON'T GET IT.

well, it's been a while since I saw this but there's a theme of eternal recurrence that the Guy talks about in the beginning of the movie. How you have to relive certain moments. It has to do with that as far as I remember.

I get that part but why does she skip forward in time everytime somebody tries to injure the insane ghost?
