I'm not surprised that the budget was this much. With George and Steven (Section Eight Productions) helping to pay the bills, even an independent movie will have big-project stuff used to help get the film made.

Bad? Man, it was like watching paint dry. Watching grass grow. I kept waiting for something to happen, and then (welcome sigh of relief!), the words,

Yes, and for MUCH of the film's running time, NOTHING happens!! I saw the movie on cable, last winter, when I was staying in Daytona Beach, Florida.

I thought the script was bad, but it Was well filmed, atmospheric, and not as bad as the average horror movie these days.
