Possibly the most depressing ending to a movie I've ever seen.

Have you seen The Mist yet? That one was pretty depressing too...But I'll agree this movie did have a depressing ending.

I haven't seen either of those, but now that I think about it Old Yeller's ending was even more depressing than this movie.
