UK release
I do not recall this movie ever getting a UK theatrical release which is a shame because, having seen the DVD (which was also hard to get), I feel it deserved one. The story arc is a little disjointed but it has some nice performances from the four principals (though not Ms Linney's best by a long way), a lot of slick and peppy dialogue and a subject matter that a country that has gone through the Bliar years was well ready for. The honest decency of Mr Williams' character did make him very appealing. I commend this to my fellow countrymen as an object lesson in the dangers of a presidential political system.
