I, for one, would have like to have seen Jason really tell his old girlfriend off...or at least do something more than just walk out of the apartment.

Ditto.
And part of me wanted to see the grandad alive at the end despite knowing he wasn't there anymore.
Even grown up grandsons need a good hug!

I would have liked to see him having rescued ALL the prisoners held by the drug lord. As it was, he and his friend escaped, but presumably the other prisoners were "killed" the next day. I know it's just a movie, but I would've changed that.
