Who paid the bill at the restaurant!?

So the couple had an extremely expensive meal at a fancy restaurant... Jason's credit cards were rejected, so he asks her girlfriend to pay the bill... she feels disappointed and complains like a baby... then leaves the table... So... Jason stood there with a bill of maybe hundreds or even thousands...

I doubt the restaurant staff would have forgiven such a bill... so... who paid for all?

I am guessing the girlfriend did. I could have sworn she took her card out of her wallet.

I say nobody paid it. What are they going to do if you can't pay the bill? He gets up and leaves. Do you think the snooty staff will tackle him to the ground and keeps him untill the cops get there?

When the girlfriend shows up again in the end, she does say something like "you owe me a dinner". So I assumed that the girlfriend only paid it after throwing a rant about it.
