The Actors

Just wondering....did anyone else find it interesting that several of these actors have previously been in Stephen King adaptations?

E.g Steven Weber - The Shining, Desperation
Samantha Mathis - Salem's Lot
Rebecca Gibney - Salem's Lot
Robert Mammone - Salem's Lot
Richard Thomas - IT

I was impressed with some of the casting though....William H. Macy is in my opinion a really classy actor; no offence to any of the cast but sometimes SK adaptations tend to be hokey B-grade quality or worse.
Thumbs up to casting some Australians in there as well!(makes sense; weren't some or all of these stories filmed in Australia?)
