Melbourne Vs London

Anyone who has visited London would realise the story was shot elsewhere. For starters, we don't have sunshine in London. Crouch End actually has narrow streets that lend to menace, unlike the sunny wide boulevards of Melbourne. Crouch End looks nothing LIKE bloody Melbourne. Crouch Hill is a typical multi-cultural British suburb, somewhat dominated by an ugly tower block. Apart from the black cabs and occasional decent English accent, there was nothing British about this at all. King was obviously inspired by Crouch End when he wrote the story, so it's sad that the producers fancied a holiday down under instead of sticking to a location that would have actually made a better adaptation. And yes, the ending was *beep*

It's too cerebral! We're trying to make a movie here, not a film!
