I think the stories they picked were quite good, but what stories would you have liked to see? My picks would have to be:

Chattery Teeth has already been turned into a short film.
It was one of two 1 hour movies under the title of 'Quicksilver Highway' with Christopher Lloyd. I wouldn't mind seeing it again actually.
I would have loved to have seen The Moving Finger though.

Quitters Inc was already done in the movie Cat's Eye http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088889/ which was based on 3 stories by Stephen King. Also I might be thinking of the wrong thing here but if "The Moving Finger" was the story about the finger in the drain in the sink then it was done as a episode of the TV show "Monsters" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0094512/ and if you're interested there was a episode form the Twilight Zone that came out in the 80's written by Stephen King called "Grandma"
As for my pick I like to see "The Juant" I hope I spelled that right.
The only difference between religion and superstition is the spelling.
But The Mangler movie mangled his story, and barely had any resemblance.

Well I figure you can show it as a man telling his kids the story then as the story is told it goes into a flashback of how it all came to be, then we hear the voice of Mark Oats narrating it. We can also "see" what happens to the mice then have it go to a quick flash forward of the kids asking "What happened to the mice?" and the father answering "Oh they were alright"
How I rate movies: 5 stars=F,6 stars=D,7 stars=C,8 stars=B,9 stars=A.1-4 stars are very bad.
Cat's Eye is based on two stories. General was written specifically for the movie.

If there were going to be a sequel miniseries to Nightmares and Dreamscapes (which there should be), "Suffer the Little Children" I don't know about. That whole "murdering kids" thing could be a little off-putting for TV. The ones I'd like to see are:

From Skeleton Crew:
- Mrs. Todd's Shortcut (I love this story - especially the creature that gets stuck to her bumper...)
- The Jaunt - Another classic - but as someone else mentioned - it has to be done right ("...It's longer than you think Dad! It's longer than you think..."
- Word Processor of the Gods - Always liked the ending of this one...
- Survivor Type - Gruesome - but great!
From Nightmares & Dreamscapes:
- Chattery Teeth - Another good one with a great ending ("...easy there little fella...")
- Rainy Season - I'd love to see all those frogs melt at the end...
- The House on Maple Street - Great story - and since its based on a painting by Chris Van Allsburg, maybe they could do it in motion capture - like "Polar Express" or something...
- The Moving Finger - Perfect King paranoid fantasy!
- The Ten O'Clock People - This is a good one too, but similar to "They Live"...
From Everythings Eventual:
- All That You Love Will Be Carried Away - By far my favorite in this collection - and one of my favorite King short stories. Alfie Zimmer is such a sad character, and I love his internal struggle as he tries to decide what to do about his notebook, but I always like to think he makes it in the end...
- Everything's Eventual - Dinky Earnshaw is a great character - and the story is just too kooky, but what makes this one great is the connection to the "Dark Tower" series. If they could do it with a nod to that whole thing, great...otherwise...
- Lunch at the Gotham Cafe - Great story - especially that creepy Maitre d', and I always pictured a shot with the water glass, and that single,drop of blood, like they have on the cover of the book. ("...EEEEEE!"...)
From Just After Sunset:
- N. - A great (and creepy) look at the sickness of extreme OCD.
- Stationary Bike - Similar in tone to "The Ballad of the Flexible Bullet" from Skeleton Crew...and like that one, another favorite.
- A Very Tight Place - You will never look at a Port o'San the same way again!
I would also like to see someone attempt the Bachman classic "The Long Walk", which I had heard that Frank Darabont had aquired the rights to, so maybe its still in the works...as well as "The Breathing Method" from "Different Seasons", which has that neat (and mysterious) mens club (also featured in "The Man Who Would Not Shake Hands" form "Skeleton Crew").
It looks like some of these have been done already (e.g.Chattery Teeth), but these are the ones that stick with me...

There are so many I would love to see on the screen. Not messed about with, not elongated, just put up on the screen. Off the top of my head I would want ...
The Man In The Black Suit - (which bothered me more than any other SK story I've ever read, and I've read everything he's ever written except Cujo).
Jerusalem's Lot - (I love follow on stories from his previous books).
1408 - (again, just the story as written. Even John Cusack couldn't make that piece of crap film watchable).
The House on Maple Street - (there's nothing quite as satisfying as kids getting one over on an adult dickhead).
One For The Road - (again, I'm a sucker for follow-ups/prequels to existing works).
There are so many more but I can't think right now, just re-read The Man In The Black Suit and I'm a little jittery lol.
