jim carrey sucks

No talent and yet he was paid x number of million dollars to star - and that means he's the main character, the one whom the film is about, the one around whom all other characters and actions revolve - in this film. Clearly, someone thinks he has a modicum of talent at least. I'd like some of that lack of talent to rub off on me.
Part of the problem people have with Carrey, I think, is that he is a naturally comic actor and cannot resist lapsing into comedy mode. As a result it's difficult to take his 'serious' roles, er, seriously.
I suppose the OP has a point, though. Jim Carrey? He'll never get anywhere in Hollywood...

I woulldnt say he was talentless - he just really isnt that well versed in doing drama/thrillers, he was paid $23mill for his first time - that's the kicker- also id lay some blame at Joel Schumacher's door too....

Something tells me that the "liberal" part of your comment is much more important to you than Carrey's alleged lack of talent. I'll bet you think Kirk Cameron is a genius.
