I mean.. he told alice the whole story. Of course he couldn't have remembered her.. but once the shenanigans started (gun-butt-rape etc) I'm sure he figured it out...... right... right?

And when Alice picked up his daughter at the end.. She knew that Alice had some something to her dad right? The mood of both of them just kind of sets it off.. or at least she knew something was up.

When I watched this on Starz tonight it was called 'Closure' still.. hmm?

While Alice is talking to Heffer, there is an implication that he may realize this is the woman he raped. She keeps urging him to confess what happened that night in a way that an uninterested person probably wouldn't.

But then Adam comes up to the house yelling her name, and Heffer calls her something like a filthy tart and starts fighting with both of them. At that point he knows for sure who they are why they are there.
