Sean Beans acting

Big sharp fan, was overseas when sharpes challenge first came out so was wathicng re-run last night and it did seem to me that Sean Beans acting was more, wooden, than the previous sharpes, not quite as "in" to the roll as he used to be, anyone agree?

Late reply, but...

I felt Bean was on form, but the dialogue he was given and the circumstances into which he was placed were both too contrived for even a really good actor to do much with.
