Family Friendly Audio

Okay, so this a "Special Feature", but it only censors the language, not the nudity, ect. so why did they add this on the dvd?

Maybe they just thought it would be hilarious, this isn't exactly a family friendly movie by any means... unless your family is badass.

the audio is still family friendly :)

Coz america is so *beep* up they think its on for kids to see graphic violence but not ok to slip the odd swear word.

For fun. :)

if they made crank & crank 2 family fun version, it would suck ass, it's hilarious the way it is, no crazy edited versions

I guess desperately snorting cocaine off a floor, mutilated body parts, and *beep* in public are all considered to be family friendly these days.

I heard the audio track. It was funny as hell. If only it made its return for the second movie.

All I need is one mic...

maybe its for if you have kids in the other room? lol

when Movies are sold to the TV networks for rebroadcast, they have to be edited to meet FCC standards

when Sam Jackson requests that "the ______ Snakes get removed from his ______ Plane" some random actor would give the worst possible reading of Monday-Friday or Melon Farming, perhaps even Monkey Feather to be spliced into cover the Blanks of Sam's original "MF" or whole scenes would be cut

as of late with the MPAA ratings becoming a dance with creators, they now tend to shoot 'clean scene' alternative takes so that when the MPAA says they can avoid an NC17 by replacing 1-2 instances they can keep the scene but lose the T&A... so now the actors who just dropped more 4 letter Bombs than an air force and immediately redo the entire scene extolling the Virtues of Baloney, Fudge and Mustard

Nudity has gone from being cut to simply Blurred in post production

so what ends up happening is that when they have the wrap Party, or round up the cast for a pre-release party they have 1 Visual cut, but 2 audio cuts... and considering the tone of the film, it's not out of the realm of logic tha the Directors found the humor in a 'clean audio track over an otherwise UnClean Film

I don't know why they added it but it'll just ruin the experience, just leave it like it is, uncensored, uncut, vulgar, violent, profane, bloody, gory, racist, offensive, brutal, and badass, no one wants to see a sanitized version of crank
