THEY FIGHT LIKE SISSIES......

Not sure if it was an effort toward realism, but in the first meeting of the protagonists, the physical encounter, really looked like a schoolyard fight between two ten year old girls. Theres an old expression.....couldn't punch his way out of a wet paper bag. It applies here. Coming right after the fire, the viewer wants the union soldier (avoiding spoilers, I hope) hurt. In fact, he deserved a serious beating. (This desipte, "they said the house was e***y)

I was hoping they would all die half way through. The chase was getting on my nerves.

If it harms none, do what thou wilt.

Can't say I see where you're coming from here.

First of all, they're both nearly at the point of exhaustion. Second of all, much of the fight consist of Liam's character punching Pierce's character repeatedly in his bullet wound, which seems like a pretty effective way to use what strength one might have left, being near the point of exhaustion.

Actually, the fight seemed pretty realistic given the context, which is more than you can say for 99% of fights in movies.
