Well, it got kinda' strange and twisted towards the end. It's like the director decided to go off on a tangent and get all metaphysical and stuff. It's like it suddenly became a totally different movie.
I wouldn't call it a classic, unless you consider it classic weirdness. But you probably ought to watch it again and finish it, just to see how twisted it gets.
I rarely turn off films without finishing them - but I should have on this one. You didn't miss anything. Sloppy, pseudo-intellectual, made-for-TV drivel.
shareIn my opinion you turned off a classic yes, but you obviously didn't think so otherwise you wouldn't have turned it off half-way... I wouldn't worry about it, it seems it wasn't the film for you
shareI watched it with surround sound the waterfall is mighty as well as the shooting, the scenery was brilliant. The story wasn't great why wait over an hour into the film to let us know why grimson was being hunted? The whole movie was dragged out what happened to westerns that were made in the seventies bank robbers stage coach robbers and train robbers with plenty action and shooting as well as great story lines why can't they make a decent western nowadays with all the technology they have? anyone have any answers?

If you thought this film was "boring", then you're gonna miss out on half of all great films.
He who is tired of "Weird Al"... is tired of life.
The ending is what made this movie interesting

you missed a very good filmWhen there's no more room in hell, The dead will walk the earth...
I didn't like it that much. Give it a 5/10. I have nothing against slow paced movie and I didn't expect a classicly made western movie (I've watched it because I'm a fan of Brosnan and Neeson), but the story of revenge and the everlasting pursuit let me cold. Without Brosnan (I thought Neeson wasn't at the top of his form) I would've give lower than 5.
shareStrange, Im about 20 minutes into it, seems to be keeping my attention very well. eems to move along very well.
sharei really enjoyed it (gave it 7/10). but by no means did you miss a classic. its a simple western story with an ending that could've been done much better. though i will give the ending originality points. it threw me off a little haha
shareyou watched the good part. lol
shareIt got interesting about 45 minutes in and stayed that way pretty much all the way through.
