The title?

Why is it "Rogue"? Maybe I missed something.

What you don't think that a huge animal hunting and terrorising people is not a Rogue?

reply

If I'm not wrong, "rogue" refers to an animal that has developed a taste for human flesh. Or maybe just being over savage or destructive.

Nothing is more reliable than a man whose loyalties can be bought with hard cash.

Except "rogue" doesn't mean "rare" at all - it's about difference from the norm, not rate of occurrence. A rogue wave behaves differently from normal waves. A rogue shark/croc preys on what they normally do not...such as people.

reply

Yup, when something deviates from a set guideline (as the wave you mentioned), and is doing things it decides to do (not following orders), then it's considered rogue...pretty easy to understand why this is called such...
