Genius Products sent us some kick ass brand new movie stills from their upcoming DVD release “Rogue” by director Greg McLean (Wolf Creek) and starring a talented cast, including Michael Vartan (Alias, Monster-in-Law), Radha Mitchell (Silent Hill, Man on Fire), Sam Worthington (Somersault, Dirty Deeds) and John Jarrat (Wolf Creek). “Rogue” will be in stores on August 5th.

Anyone surprised this didn't have a theatrical release in the USA? I am surprised seeing as how Wolf Creek did, and with the success of that you'd think they would have given this a go-ahead to theaters.

It was released in the USA but it was a limited release, which was grossly unfair.

And it’s about goddamn time! The follow up to Greg McLean’s Wolf Creek, this killer crocodile movie has been on a shelf since Primeval bombed at the box office. And damn them for it. Though I’ve not seen it yet, word on the street is it’s actually a damn good film, which we finally get to find out once and for all this Tuesday. Here’s hoping it was worth the wait!

I bought it at Best Buy last Friday for $14.99. I guess they broke street date. Great film.
