Ending?

How does this end? I rented it once and fell asleep halfway through. How did they end up killing the croc(I assume they killed it) or escape?

Jordan Godzilla Sullivan you stop that right now!

Pete didn't bait the Croc, it was her stalker ex-BF who then got eaten.

The whole 'stumbling into the lair' was stupid, as well as finding her, and the whole impaling the Croc on the wood was just laughable.

This tried very hard to be Jaws. It failed. By the end of Jaws it doesn't matter about the reality of the tank, because of the superb filmaking and acting that came before that moment.

Pete didn't 'stumble into the lair' - he followed the dog which was going after its master (mistress?) Kate.

Oh, and Pete DID do the baiting. The ex-boyfriend was killed earlier.

Sorry you're wrong. The ex is the one that baits the Croc so that the people can get across. That's when he gets chomped, on the other side. Pay attention!

Really?!

Please rewatch the film.

The ex swam from the island to the riverbank to set up the rope for the others to inch across. After the failure of the plan due to the first woman freaking out halfway across the rope, the ex is attacked.

Pete (Michael Vartan) later uses the boat's anchor with dead duck attached as bait to create a diversion for the others to scramble across to the riverbank.

I anticipate an apology included in your reply post (if any).

You anticipate an apology? Well maybe if you'd not been rude and pompous about it..yeah. But since not...bugger off. It's still a crap movie.

Thanks Nightthing for your post(s).! Apparently, some people just hate being wrong.

Thanks back at ya, Wyatt, for the support. It's so rare on these boards, it seems...

(Lucky I didn't post with "expect an apology" as I originally intended - tongue-in-cheek, of course.)

I just watched it on HBO, this MOVIE ROCKED. I wonder if its on Blu Ray I hope it is. The ending was FAN-FARKING-TASTIC.

After kate gets what seems to be killed i thought Pete was gonna die in the Lair too.

I'll tell you what's wrong with the ending - in a movie that has Michael Vartan and a giant crocodile, the wrong one ends up dead. This movie is bad in a lot of ways, but that pretty much takes the cake. Vartan plays himself in every role and he's not even good at it. He sucks. Any movie in which Radha Mitchell gets bloodied and he doesn't has made a big mistake.

That aside, a movie that mainly relies on characters doing the stupidest possible thing, in order for the story to move forward, is not a good movie.

I don't mind being wrong, and I was. Just shows how poor the film was IMO.

But I will not be 'expected' to apologize to anyone.

Riley0411:

You rented this once and fell asleep during it. Okay, that happens to everyone.

But now you're asking how it ends so you can decide whether to watch it again?

And watching it again knowing how it ends, you probably fall asleep again.

No problem! Just post and ask us what happens between the middle of the movie and the end of the movie.

Here's a little tip: The next time you fall asleep during a movie, how about watching the rest of it later? It's a great way to find out how a movie ends!

Jeez, some people...
