light on gore?

i gotta b honest im a huge gore fan and this film really sold suspense and chills by the bucket load jst a shame they couldnt throw in a few buckets of gore for good measure too. this is certainly one of the better killer croc movies (apart from lake placid) but bit more gore would have been better or am i the only one?

Primeval was VERY gory.

I'm more interested in suspense than gore, and I thought this flick delivered plenty of suspense. I suppose when the suspense is due to a creature threatening to eat people, you have to have a certain number of gory pay-offs or you feel cheated, but I thought it struck a reasonable balance.

Of course, there's no way this would happen to this degree in real life. Crocs are extremely territorial, but they just don't eat as much or in as short a time as this movie would have you believe. Yeah I get it, it's fiction, but if you know anything about crocs it makes the movie hard to take on face value.

You might very well think that. I couldn't possibly comment.

Was a bit light on gore- too bad. Wish it had been made same cast, same director, same location after Pirahna 3D came out..

Being light on gore improved it. When the first guy is snatched off the beach, you never see it happen. He's standing there talking, then suddenly he's gone. I thought it was far nastier that you didn't see a cheesy over the top death scene.

Most of the recent horror films are like comedies because the gore scenes are ridiculous.
