I was just off of his kickass performance as Marcus Wright in Terminator Salvation and I wanted to see this because he was listed as pretty high in the cast list. I thought he was great as the typical aussie badass. I gotta say I was pretty pissed that he died so quick. I thought he was the best character in the movie.

P.S. Radha Mitchell was hot as hell too. Damn I've never noticed her before. My eyes are open now. WOW.

Watch a movie called SOMERSAULT. His performance in that is much better than in this one.

Would have been nice to keep him alive. Then you could have had the two main characters vying for her affection. Does she lean towards the handsome stranger, or the *beep* reject she used to have a thing for?

Could have really added to the film, instead they just go with the happy ending (which doesn't even pay off. did they get together?)

One of the main reasons I like this movie, first time I saw Sam Worthington in anything and his character was more than cool (combination of cocky and reliable when it comes to it at the same time).

The other reason is unbelievable scenery.

No, he HAD to die. You have to "kill off Mercutio" at the end of the second act, to end all the optimisim of the story. He was "that" character, and I just wish we could have seen more of how he died. I just saw huge jaws and, dude was gone. I guess thats how croc attacks usually are.

A shame his friend died so quick and had such few lines, that guy is a good actor. Forget his name...Damien something.

Sam was really the only reason I watched this movie because he was high on the list. I didn't realize he was going to die that early.

It was lame that he died so quick, I was disappointed, he was sexy as the australian. His character was so much better than that gay lead guy.

Believe it or not but as soon as I saw this film I knew that he would make it big someday. He has just a great look and has a quality set of acting skills to go along with it. Given I didnt know he would hit SUPER STARDOM as fast as he did but it doesn't surprise me in the least that he is now one of Hollywood's most popular actors. I actually loved this movie and IMO its hands down one of the best straight to video films ever made. Most STV films can only hope to be half as good as this film was.

Yeah, Worthington killed with his acting. Gay that they killed him off though. Radha Mitchell is indeed hot.

his kickass performance in Terminator? Are you serious, Sam Worthington isn't really considered a good actor, take a look at his talent in Clash of the Titans. Although I do agree with you that it would have been nice to see him make it through the movie or at least lasted longer, but thats the movie industry for you.

Wasn't he pretty much in three scenes then they showed the croc burst out of the water and his blood on the flashlight although the only reason he and that Mary Ellen chick died was because of Allen, he was an idiot and I thought he deserved to die, two people had just died in the same scene because of him but yeah I wish Sam lasted longer, I enjoyed his character and performance
