This wasnt very good...

I am kinda dissapointed since I really liked Wolf Creek. This movie had some cool shots and camera work! Good acting, too, Michael Vartan and Radha Mitchell were great on this, even John Jarrat who had a dumb character, but he is a good actor. The croc looked amazingly awesome! Best croc ever! But the movies build up and pacing were dreadful. It was boring, with lots of empty scenes, some of those scenes to build suspense, but it didnt work for me. Too much waiting and waiting for a good, but waayyyy short pay off. A croc movie without many, i mean many scenes involving the croc. Not bad, but it could have been a lot more intense! Such an awesome croc for such a poor eexecution. Wasted oportunity. 5.5/10.

Campared to many other Australian films...ROGUE is a knockout!

Well, many australian films have impressed me in my life - specially Picnic at the Hanging Rock, so that is quite unfair.

I should begin by expaining that I am Australian myself.

"gottfrid" you are going back in time a bit with PICNIC AT HANGING ROCK, but yes, there is no question that ROCK has an international following to this day.

MY Australian gems include DON'S PARTY (1976), RAZORBACK (198?), LOST THINGS (2003), FAT PIZZA: THE MOVIE (2003), HOUSOS VS AUTHORITY (2012).

Australia makes some knockout music videos, go to YouTube and punch in "ART VS SCIENCE: FINALLY SEE OUR WAY" and see for yourself. This music video is FUN. Why can't our full length movies be this much fun???????

Perhaps Aussie music video directors should take over our film industry? But Paul Fenech and the director of ROGUE can keep doing stuff.
