Well it is. It's also slightly nasal and occasionally irritating.

I loved the accent. I had to look up "He's a poofter mate." There are several examples of what it means but I get the general idea, I think.... G'day mates :D

It's okay for a few minutes but Australian accent gets annoying real quick after that.

You need to expose yourself to the accent more often. After a while you don't notice it anymore and you just hear plain English. ;)

Though the world's most ridiculed accent is of course American.

There's nothing hornier than an australian accent on a girl. I AM HORNY!

reply

nothing wrong with anyones native accent, just wish film people would allow the actors to use their own once in a while personally i like the Australian accents and it wouldn`t hurt people to look up words in the dictionary now and then

reply

i love the australian accent way more than british accent...i think the british accent sounds too posh and fake

reply

Are you kidding me?! The British accent is unique in that people in every town sound different, even neighbouring towns. Only a very small proportion of the British sound posh, unfortunately Hollywood only ever use this accent when portraying the English (unless they are some sort of gangster then they will use cockney) that leaves the rest of the world thinking we all sound like the Queen.
