Over the years many actresses have played Nancy Drew going all the way back to the 1930's. Who would you consider the best Nancy Drew ever?
I think that Pamela Sue Martin is the best ever and might follow closely to the book's Nancy Drew.
I like Bonita Granville because she was 'a teen' just usual. Kinda crazy, charismatic. Pamela Sue was pretty good and definitely my favourite Nancy from the Hardy Boys Mystery Series.

sharePamela Sue Martin looks the most like I would imagine Nancy, so I've always liked her. Tracy Ryan played the part really well but looked nothing like I'd imagine. Bonita Granville was the funniest and generally most fun, and although I love those movies, they're not very much like the books, so...
I don't have a favorite per se. I think I'm still waiting for my perfect Nancy.

I'm still waiting. Haven't seen one yet. Such an iconic character, it seems that it has been difficult to cast the right actress.
