If you like Life on Mars, you might like The Good Guys.
The Good Guys, Friday at 9pm on Fox, is set in modern day, but fun and light. The older partner is the throwback to not politically correct policing, and he also has a moustache. It is really creatively written, tightly plotted, and there is a lot of humor from the contrast between the personalities and approaches of the young modern cop and the old school cop. The theme song is up beat and bouncy, and the main title shows some funny stuff. We found it a nice break from the grim procedural shows, and it's one of our top favorites. "Let's go bust some punks!"
