I think it's silly that the movie advertises only Pitt and Penn when Chastain and her character were as essential as the music in the story- absolutely.

Within the first half hour of the movie, I thought she did a great job, remembered not seeing her name on the cover, and wondered why.
I'd say a nomination for her would have been more deserved than the one Brad Pitt got
You don't know how movie marketing works. No matter how good an actor is, only the most popular names get on the cover. The purpose of covers and advertising movies is just to get people to want to see it. Putting Jessica Chastain on the cover would just be a waste of space, even though she was almost as good as Brad Pitt.
