This makes me want to cry.....

Look, to be honest I have not seen Creepshow III, but I have read a complete plot symposis, seen clips from youtube, and read almost the entire backstory behind it. I have no intention of buying it but will enventually see it (once I find out how to do so without giving Taurus money).

That being said OH MY GOD I want the filmakers to BURN IN HELL!!!!!!!! First of all the actors I know suck, blood is horribly fake, and effects suck (I saw the thing with the demon mouth). This film is a disgrace to not only Stephen King and George Romero, but to the name Creepshow. And I'm NOT just saying that because it was an awful; I'm saying it's a disgrace to the name Creepshow is because the whole point of Creepshow is to be a tribute to '50's EC horror comics and have a light, cheesy, and scary feel to it. Creepshow 1 had simple yet great effects that defined the feel and you were guided through a comic book which shows you what the film is all about. Creepshow 2 did more or less the exact same thing; it was a flawed but fun film with simple yet great/believable effects and in addition to the comic book atmosphere/wraparound plus a host, which is even more of a send up to Tales from the Crypt and The Vault of Horror and such. Both films were great. Now Creepshow III (SHOULD be Creepshow 3), you no longer have The Creep, an essencial part of thew series. The movie has no reference to any EC comics of any kind and dosen't even ATTEMPT to capture the look and atmosphere of the original two. Stories were really bad as well and no EC quality at all. And to top it all off there are aweful CGI effects. The point of Creepshow is nostalgia, horrible CG ruins this more than anything. To make matters worse, on a DVD review I read in the 23-minute extra, the dude who played the Prefessor says something like "Despite the first being written by Stephen King and the second by George Romero, I feel ours is the best and most well written".......I sincearly want to decapitate this guy and beat the sh!t out of everyone at Taurus Entertainment. There is no Creepshow III until S. King and Romero do a real one. I know it's just a movie but I am really pist about this whole ordeal.
