Taurus Entertainment (QUESTIONS)

To be fair I will admit that I have yet to see neither "Day of the Dead 2: Contagnum" or "Creepshow III" (though something tells me that is a good thing).

That being said what the hell is wrong with these people? First I'll bitch about Day of the Dead 2. WHY would they feel the need to do a crappy sequel to a classic film that is ALREADY the third installment of a successful cult series? First time I saw it in a store I just stopped and staired thinking "WHY?!?!?". Plus I hear it had NOTHING to do with Day of the Dead so why not just call it "Contagnum" or "Sh!tty Low-Budget Zombie Flick", why tarnish the name of George Romero and Day of the Dead with an unofficial sequel?

Now onto Creepshow III. First of all, Creepshow III?!? Last I checked Creepshow 2 was Creepshow 2, not Creepshow II. If you going to make a crap film call it Creepshow 3. Now I just saw a fan trailer on youtube, OH MY GOD those effects look aweful from the crappy monster mounth and red-eyes on that one dude the the blood, which is like bright red and totally unrealistic looking. And those same douchebags Ana Clavelle and James Duddleson did it, PLUS Duddleson is working on the Creepshow and Day of the Dead remakes. WHY!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Creepshow and Creepshow 2 are classics because they capture the look and feel of on 50's horror comics and have a great 80's feel to them and even without the involvement of Romero and King this can be done if the makers actually care and know what to do. Creepshow III I already herd has CGI in it, which is a huge no no as everything in Creepshow 2 looked great (like the blob and woodin' chief) without CG and it added to the Creepshow feel.

So in conclusion, how the hell did these morons get the rights to make false entrys into George Romero's films? Please tell me! And I hear the crackheads are doing Creepshow 4....PLEASE TELL ME THESE FILMS ARE NOT OFFICIAL AND A REAL CREEPSHOW 3 WILL COME OUT EVENTUALLY!!!!!

I kind of figured but I have two questions regarding that:

1.) Both Creepshow III and Day of the Dead 2: Contagnum are unofficial sequels but they are officially released so how did they get the rights to release them under those titles?

2.) You say they make money from these. What money?

Not to be a pest but:

1.) HOW do they own rights to the titles?

2.) I know the money they make from selling it, I'm not that stu[id. I was being partially being sarcastic regarding the fact thet they are both aweful and hardly anyone will buy/has boughten them.

""he'll lose the rights, hopefully. I heard Jimmy and Ana blew all the DOTD2 Money on Crack.""

One can only hope!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It really annoys me that there are a sh!t ton of business savvy people out there making a ton of money on whatever they've got their fingers dipped into and then decide that they can have the clout to make movies.
On a positive note, "Creepshow III" is a REAL example that proves money may be able to buy a crew and equipment, but it sure as hell can't buy you a good movie.

"Holy cow...what a pair!"

I believe (and I could be wrong) that Creepshow 4 is being made independant from this disaster.

I really do hope I'm wrong... at least Stephen King's work seems to be incorporated. Hopefully the format and style of the first two movies will follow.

Doug Davison has previously produced the American remakes of The Ring, The Grudge, Dark Water.. etc as well as The Departed, Lake House etc...

At least there's a slice of credibility to this one. Now all that's needed is King, Romero & Savini all on board officially too :D
