NUTSHELL

A young couple find an abandoned puppy,named "Sparky" in an alley way and take it home with them.As time goes by,the couple start to struggle with severe misfortune.Fire,debt,robberies and death follows the couple everywhere.In the end,all the problems are linked to Sparky,and Sparky's rumored curse.The couple faces one final misfortune,that ends in a deadly car accident.Sparky is later found by another couple,and is taken home,where they deal with Sparky's curse.


FULL STORY IDEA:

After spending time at a party,young couple,James and Becca Harplin head home.The party was wild and intense.All James and Becca could hear after that party was a loud,annoying buzzing sound from being too close to the speakers.Other than that,they had a great time.One the way back to their apartment,Becca spots something in a box in the alley way.She tells James to stop the car.The both get out of the car and found a small puppy hiding in the box from the rain.The puppy was wet and dirty,and his fur was a dirty blonde color,and his eyes were big and blue.James sees a tag on the dog and looks at it.

"Sparky"

Feeling sorry for the dog,and the owner who must be looking for the dog,Becca insists on taking Sparky home with them.Becca gives James the puppy dog pout,and gives in.Becca smiles and cuddles Sparky in an old blanket in the back of James truck.You could tell Sparky was happy to be taken to a new home,especially by a smile you could see on his face.Once they got to their apartment,Sparky,in a hyper mood runs around the house,like a kid in a candy store that just opened.After givin some food,water,a bath and lots of love an attention,Sparky begins to feel at home.Everything seems great,and that empty hole that Becca and James felt was filled.

A week later,things start to get weird,and a bit scary.After Becca and James took Sparky to the vet for a check-up,they get home to find that their house had been ransacked.They were thankful nothing was stolen,but the scare was still there.Three days went by things were getting back to normal,that is until it happens again.Becca was out wioth some friends and James decided to invite some of his friends over to watch the big football game.There is lots of beer,pizza and such around,and it was a bit party.James's close friend,Eli left to go to the bathroom,and his friends told him to hurry up.Moments later,Sparky lets out a howl,and there was a loud thud.James and his other friends scrambled to find out what happened.There is a liquid running from under the bathroom door.Red liquid.James opens the door and his friends scream.Eli was dead on the floor,with a huge gash on his forhead.The floor and the sink was covered in blood.

James doesn't speak much after Eli's funeral.His best friend strangely died on him and he didn't see it coming.In the back of his mind,something was fishy to him.He looks over and see's Sparky playing with a chew toy on the floor.He remembers how strange it was that Eli died just minutes after Sparky howled.It was too hard to believe,so he pushed it out of his mind.The idea that his dog killed his friend was too creepy for him.Sparky howled again and James ignored it.James passed out on the couch and woke up to someone shaking him.He quickly sat up to see it was Becca.Becca was speaking a mile a minute and James didn't know what was happening.Becca explained that a kid in their apartment died after eating an apple with cyinide in it.James knew then,that something was wrong.James told Becca that he thinks Sparky is doing it.Becca is skeptical and doesn't believe it.James explained what happened to Eli and the howling he heard before Jimmy died.Becca is still skeptical and thinks James lost his mind.

Everyone in the apartment knows something is wrong.Sparky's howling has ended in disaster.There was a fire that killed three people,a car accident that severely injuried a young teenager,Jackie,and one of the more bitter people living in the apartment,Mr.Hanley died of a heart attack while paying off the final bills to get him out of debt.Everyone starts pointinf fingers at Sparky.Becca assumes it's all a coinsidence,but everyone else thinks Sparky is causing it,especially Zin,one of the more religious in the apartment,believes Sparky carrys a deadly,satanic curse.Sparky howls one last time and everyone,besides Becca,who is after about who's next.Becca and James leave the apartment to get away,but meet a tragic fate.We later find out that Becca and James were in a fatel car accident.Tragically,but Becca and James were killed.The two drivers in the other car,we later find out were a typical Sally and John Doe.Strangely,they were a young couple before them who faced severe misfortune,when a young dog came into their life.That dog's name...was Sparky.As for ol' Sparky,he's out and about in the outside world again.Only to be later found by another young couple who take him home.Little do they know,their world is about to fall apart.Their empire is going to crumble.All because they never knew about Sparky's Curse.

EDIT:I didn't notice this until right now that one of the deaths is from a poisoned apple.One of my story ideas is "The Haunted Lunchbox" as a joke,and the main character is a Light Yagami in a way,but his death note is a retro styled lunchbox.How he dies is undecided,but it's linked to the lunchbox.

in the very beginning during the cartoon sequence the tiny character in the cloak sees a dog and puts it in its little trolly thing. It proceeds to set up a hot dog stand which is seen thru out the entire movie as a real hotdog stand
