Why did they take so long just to make prt 3

Because, technically, George A Romearo and Stephen King never intended on doing a sequel, however Taurus ( a company of bastards who use Romearo's name to cash in on *beep* sequels of his original works ) bought the rights of the Creepshow name and decided to make an appauling, unwatchable sequel. However, as you can probably tell, TRUE fans of thr original have ignored the fact this even exists. In my eyes, there is Creepshow and Creepshow 2. Whoever heard of Creepshow 3?

I just found out about this sequel today.

Actually, there was a third Creepshow 3 script floating around, and many years ago the film was even slated to go into production. I'm not sure who was going to be involved, though I did see Savini's name tossed around. I even remember seeing the announcement in the Terror Teletype in Fangoria YEARS back. Who knows what happened to that, though?

I may not know a lot, but I do know "a lot" is two words.

Consider Tales From The Darkside: The Movie, to be the REAL Creepshow III. At least according to Tom Savini.

Technically,the true 3rd was mad in 1990.This is the unoffical one.

They didn't wait so long... this isn't the real Creepshow 3. They technically already made part 3, and it's called, "Tales From the Darkside: The Movie". To most Creepshow fans, it is the 3rd movie. The TV Series, "Tales from the Darkside" was originally going to be the Creepshow TV show. "Tales from the Darkside: The Movie is very similar to the first 2 creepshows, and it has the same crew as the first 2 creepshows. Both Stephen King and George Romero worked on it. Tom Savini actually said that "Tales From the Darkside: The Movie" was really the 3rd "Creepshow".

This Creepshow 3 however, has nothing to do with the rest of the series... it is just a cash in movie, using the title just to make money.

Everyone should watch "Tales From The Darkside: The Movie", it is the real Creepshow 3 and it is much much better than this Creepshow 3.
