Watch 'Tales From The Darkside: The Movie' instead of this one.

"Tales From The Darkside: The Movie" is the real Creepshow 3 and is a much much better movie.

This is from the imdb FAQ page:

The real "Creepshow 3" is actually the 1990 horror anthology film "Tales from the Darkside: The Movie", directed by the original Creepshow's composer, John Harrison. The film was spawned from a "Creepshow" television series idea which later had it's title changed to "Tales from the Darkside". The television series was produced by the original Creepshow's director, George A. Romero. Tom Savini (makeup artist on the original "Creepshow" and actor in "Creepshow 2") cites "Tales from the Darkside: The Movie" as the real "Creepshow 3", as do the majority of fans. As well as sharing the same distinctive style as the original two "Creepshow" installments, "Tales from the Darkside: The Movie" also shares much of the same crew, and is produced by the same company (Laurel Entertainment).

I would personally say neither count as part 3, but TALES is the better of the two films.

Tales was a decent movie. Lovers Vow was the the best story.

Just cos the fans like to ignore the terrible Creepshow 3 and call TFTD "Creepshow 3" does not make it so.

TFDS is a seperate franchise. It does not matter if it was or was not produced by Geroge.
Officialy TFTD is it's own franchise (TV and movie) and Creepshow is it's own franchise.
