it didn't seem to make sense atall, i get the moral, but none of it made any sense.
Also, if the moral is "be grateful for what you have", what is with the black and hispanic family? man, my life might suck, but hey, atleast i'm white!
I thought it was obvious: 16 yr old girls are rabbits > rabbits love cake >don't hit them in the face with a ball or they will melt >switching foster familys all the time is stressful, even in suburbia.
It's obvious what it was about. Rehash the dialogue as much as you can, change the language and hey we've killed 20 mins. One story down and hardly a sweat broken. I think they were attempting to get back at everyone for liking Creepshow. Why else would they make such tripe!
I think Alice was originally a rabbit, but Professor Dayton accidentally turned her into a human and made her "family" think she was really their daughter until he could find a solution. But then again, her "dad" bought the remote from the street vendor, so it was kinda random.
"But then again, her "dad" bought the remote from the street vendor, so it was kinda random."
In the last story, it's revealed that the street vendor is being supplied with remote controls and talking radios by Professor Dayton. Dayton buys a voodoo kit from the same vendor, presumably to resurrect his recently-dismembered wife.
To be honest, I'm amazed that I stuck with the tedious tripe long enough to notice that. It seemed like mad Professor Dayton had found a way to stretch 90 minutes of my life over 6 hours.
Me too, and why she enters into a house (the professor's? I don't remember) while being half muted. She drink alcool, eat the cake, thal to a guy as if nothing was unusual. That part was one of the worst I've ever seen in my life.
A remote that causes people to change races is a bit weird. But I never understood why they never explained why it was happening, like why Alice turned into a rabbit.
Worst story in CS3 ever.
No one goes to college to learn how to pour a cup of coffee...unless they are f*-king retarded!
CK and UB from Deadpit did a review on thsi and they said it must have been some like Alice In Wonderland thing,or something.(I don't remember what they said exactly)
Out by sixteen or dead on the scene, but together forever
i think the story is alice is a rabbit the professor has that escaped from it`s cage, and somehow one of the remotes changed that rabbit into alice and made her into part of an existing family in such a way they didn`t know any different, i`m guessing the professor was trying the remote when alice escaped or the other guy was trying it and that caused the change that turned alice into a teenage child, so many things were not explained in this episode, like why only alice was effected by the 2nd remote, how did the street vendor get the remote or why did the prof sell or give it to the street vendor in the first place, and what did he plan to do with it, also what happened to it afterwards, i guess i`m never gonna find out am i.
I remember the Creepy Kentuckian and Uncle Bill making a reference to Alice in Wonderland with their review of the movie. I guess I had forgotten about it from my previous post or I hadn't seen it yet.
"I'll go,because I am Cinema!" - Ben (Man Bites Dog)
I thought the remote part was quite clever. The dad changed color hence a black family. The sub title was selected hence the spanish family and every one talking with sub titles. Didn't get the signal part.
