What other museum fantasy books do you want to see get film adapted ?

Irrespective whether you greatly loved, or even disliked the 2 NATM films, what indoor or outdoor museum fantasy books you've read and think are much better written and much more interesting than NATM, would you love seeing get cinema adapted, or animation adapted. The whole story doesn't necessarily have to be set inside a museum. Please state the author, what the book is about and why you greatly admire it.

I'd like to see The Alchemist's Portrait by Simon Rose made into a movie. Though it is directed at a younger audience, I loved this book. It's about a boy who, on a field trip to a museum with his class, sees a portrait. Eventually he discovers he can travel through time to the different places the portrait has hung. There is some trouble with the time travel and the owner of the painting. I love this book because I am a huge fan of time travel. Also the way things are described is really neat too.

I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it!
