Museum of Natural History has Historical Figures?!

Okay so it was set in the Museum of Natural History but in real life does the museum contain historical figures?

reply

Well, in all honesty, "natural history" usually refers to things like paleontology, geology, animal life, etc. However, I have seen some museums of "natural history" with aspects of indigenous cultures on display (anthropology-wise), but nothing relative to what you would call social studies (certainly not military history) or, as known here, study of society and the environment (SOSE).

I haven't been to every museum in the world, so I guess anything is possible, especially if it's a movie.

By the way, why in the world would the statues of Easter Island like bubblegum, even in a silly movie?

My local NHM has a bit of everything. History figures as well. I'm from Peru.

The Museum of Natural History in NYC doesn't have exhibits of historical figures, but does have those relating to anthropological history of the Earth. It also has what must be the most gorgeous geological exhibits featuring minerals and gems of the world... it's my favorite section. The insect section? Not so much. Especially those 20-foot high insects. Gah.

Yeah, Teddy Roosevelt is represented all over the museum in NYC. There's people dioramas, too. So there's people from many cultures, but I can't remember if they're actual historical figures or just regular desert nomads, Eskimos, etc.
