This movie was just horrible

I'm normally a big fan of Ben Stiller movies, but this one was just so bad. It was funny at all. I don't think I even cracked a smile once. The plot was non-existant. Divorced man gets job to so he won't lose his son? That's IT?????
I gave it a 1 star rating. If they allowed a 0 star rating I would have given that.

Well, technically, if they allowed a 0 star rating, they would have to additionally offer a downward scale of -1 to -10 for a proper absolute value balance, which could get confusing, not to mention that the mean could be thrown off more easily by trolls and so on.

There are a few movies I would probably give a -10 to, but I'm satisfied with this system. At any rate, I am somewhat amazed whenever an IMDb rating comes even close to my own personal views relative to rating, although there have been a few cases where this has actually happened (and I cried). To think the majority of the general public out there and I could near agreement on something is highly disturbing.

I liked this movie, by the way, even though it is completely mindless and historically ridiculous (most movies are highly erroneous when it comes to anything technical or factual, even from a simplistic viewpoint).

this movie was one of those films that tries to teach kids something about life, you know like a disney movie with an education backdrop.

i was expecting something more funny and harder, this is a kids film out and out.

i needed to watch a real movie after this to get the taste out of my mouth.

i still like ben stiller though just, this was too light for me.

I take it you only watched the first ten-minutes of the film.
