What does that make his Indian girlfriend...or Attilla...or, well you get the idea?

Didn't that moment make the entire premise of the movie seem totally disjointed?

I don't really know what you're asking. Phrase your question more clearly.

But if the moment you're talking about is the moment when Teddy says he knows he's not the real Teddy and you're wondering if all the exhibits are self aware like that, keep in mind that they do, but they still have the personalities and memories of the people they represent.

It's kinda like Total Recall. Having fun memories and enjoying the life given to you but knowing it isn't real.

I believe the OP is asking that if Teddy is only wax, and doesn't have a history (he was never alive, just representing someone who was), then how come the Indian girlfriend had a history and was able to tell the History Geek woman about her past life?

Teddy knew everything about the real Teddy Roosevelt, so I suppose that Sakegewea knew about he real counterpart.

But, of course, the only one out of the museum that really was who he was representing was Ahkmenra.
