A much better ending...
Would have been if they stopped the train right before Stanton. Despite the numerous plot holes and story flaws, it wasn't that bad of a movie, a good popcorn flick. Hitting the curve at 30+ mph and then stopping the train right after was stupid. They could have easily had it just as suspenseful slowing the train right before the curve and then we wouldn't have to deal with the biggest suspense of belief in the whole movie.
