Bloated Hollywood Garbage!!!!!
This movie was so much unrealistic drama and ridiculous eye candy with absolutely no substance. I can't believe I sat through it.

- Really, you should take your head out of your ass before it gets stuck up there.
Wolf
"I Drank What?!" - Socrates
Nothing wrong with that. It was also entertaining and well acted.
Its that man again!!
"Unrealistic drama and ridiculous eye candy"
That could probably be used to describe more than 2/3 of every action movie out there...
-Maybe you need to choose from a different genre.
I agree with Infinite Rage, this was the most clichéd load of rubbish I’ve seen for years. I can hear the director now – “What can we do now? Oh I know, let’s blow up a few more Police cars…”
That’s an hour and a half I’ll never get back.
And then have someone say
"as long as the brakes dont blow up"
hey good idea
boom go the brakes
... and this scores 6.8 ? What little faith i had in the average IMDB visitor/voter surely went down the drain now.

Agreed.
This was unimaginative, clichéd, tripe - full of stereotypes.
An unconvincing drama with a predictable plot and dialled in performances.
Denzel Washington in particular has done enough of these "feel good" films now that I consider him overrated. He plays the same unrecognised working class hero every time!
A crisis is artificially manufactured by the incompetence of a pair of railway employeees (of course it has to be the ugly fat dude who messes up) yet we're expected to believe another pair of workers for the same company somehow double handedly save the day...
A mindless way to enjoy popcorn and beer on the weekend while congratulating each other with high fives in celebration of the unsung heroes that make up our work force, before heading out to get drunk.
It should have been called,
Unstoppable: Until That Part Right at the Very End When it is Finally Stopped
or it *could* have been called;
"Clusterfk: Idiots, Trains, & Automobiles"
"Runaway Train: We Don't Care Anyway Because Pennsylvania Sucks"
"Captain Kirk Takes a Side Job"
"I am Glad Denzel is in this Train Movie Because He Looks Like He Could Use the Money"
______________
"Your wife's on my Wham-O"
