Did anyone notice... (spoilers, kind of)

Am I the only one that noticed that when Orel gets in trouble at the end, he pulls up his pants after being spanked, his father explains what he did wrong, then his father's pants fall down. I have only seen a few episodes but it seemed to happen every time. Was that supposed to be funny?

The joke is that Orel doesn't get spanked, he gets belted, and Clay who's smashed pretty much all the time forgets to put his belt back on, so his pants have a tendency to slip down.

"If you should need me, tap this staff three times on a wall."

"No, it's just loud."
