A discussion of... everything
*SPOILERS AHEAD*
*BUT GIVEN THE SHOW IS DONE NOW YOU'RE QUITE STUPID TO BE READING THIS BOARD IF YOU DON'T WANT THE END RUINED*
So besides the humor of it, the show is quite psychological (particularly things concerning Clay).
I guess to start, 'cause this has been on my mind most, isn't it interesting how Clay's twisted nature as an adult is in part to not just his raising by his mother (for that short time) and his father, but also Bloberta's fault?
While she's disgusted with him, she was the one to first introduce him to alcohol...
Then I was surprised that of all people it was Coach Danielle in the finale, as perverted as he is, to show maturity and even care for Orel. When he first started spending time with Orel that day I thought he might gain a fixation on Orel as he took his mind from Clay and the pain he felt, but he actually showed responsibility and nurturing to him.
Thoughts? Other points anyone would like to mention?
"If you should need me, tap this staff three times on a wall."
"Magic?"
"No, it's just loud."
