The dead cat was not Fred!

Fred was a dark gray tabby, but the remains of the dead cat that Erin found belonged to an orange tabby. Even if the cat was torn to bits by a "coyote," it was quite obvious that it was not Fred. Either it was a really bad job by the props department, or they decided to have a different cat play Fred at the least minute and didn't bother to fix the death scene.

It really did look like another cat. This is a movie so they had to make it look like it was his insides I guess. I wonder how she had the heart to mutilate a cat.

I laughed at that! I guess they couldn't get something that looked like the real cat.

Yeah, I noticed that too. They didn't realize that the orange cat that was eviscerated wasn't the gray cat they owned? Quite an obvious error to me, but I own a gray tabby that looked just like Fred. I immediately saw the difference. Maybe non-catowners wouldn't pick up on it?
