If I'm Post-Apocalypse Bernard

I'm trying to make an Elsie. Because she's the only one who understands him or really cares for him.

The backstory showed how Arnold was really obsessed with Dolores. But Arnold died and the Bernard host may be based on Arnold, but he and Dolores have nothing in common. His only true friend besides Ford was Elsie.

The question is would Elsie be a host as Bernard is a host. Or would Bernard, now more aware be more brilliant (like Arnold) and be the first to successfully install a copy of a human in a host body.

Yeah, that would be great. That way I could enjoy watching her through one more season (at least).

Don't think so. Bernard has learned a few lessons & I think he has the respect & dare I say "love" not to try & make a host Elsie. My take on it is he'd let sleeping dogs lie, because what he may create he realizes won't be her anyway. She gave her life trying to help him out, there's no copying that.

There's a chance that in addition to all the guests, that all the employees, heck, maybe EVERYBODY was backed up in the forge & that she may in some sense survive there. But again I think you're overestimating his desire to have her around. He'd do the decent thing & would let her be, because he himself knows what it feels like. & he'd view it as a slap in the face to the memory of her to do.

I agree i don't think he will make an Elsie out of respect, he really seemed to care about her.
