If teddy died there...
how did he end up in the lake with all the other hosts?
shareGood question, man. Really looking forward to the finale now.
shareThere's some speculation that all the lake hosts are copies of hosts so they don't know who's missing should the hosts breach the park and get out into the real world.
shareSo... any ideas? I didn't get that. My only guess is that when the valley was flooded Teddy's body was somehow carried by a stream up to the rest of dead hosts.
shareDid you miss the part where Dolores rode the horse for miles before even catching up with Black William??? And then they rode even further to get the Forge.
Never explained, never brought up again.
Nice job, writers. ROFLMAO.
Hey, I was just trying to come up with some semi-plausible explanation! ) I didn't miss the part but... with all that confusion thought of Teddy's suicide spot being really not that far from the flooded valley etc. ((
For me, it was either this or Teddy having a copy functioning simultaneously with the original.
I've written the answer here: https://moviechat.org/tt0475784/Westworld/5b27e6b39102ec0014f30673/If-teddy-died-there?reply=5b312b5a7e71840014453b2f
shareYou were not paying attention. The whole valley becomes the lake.
The valley is very big. Dolores and Teddy entered the valley long ago. If you recall, the ghost nation tried to stop Teddy and Dolores from entering the valley. Teddy killed a few of them and let some of them go. It was just after this event that Dolores and Teddy initially entered the valley. The valley was still dry at this point.
In the future the rescue crew began draining the valley shortly after finding the floating bodies.
As for why Teddy's body is with the other host bodies: All of the bodies were swept away from their point of origin. It is not that uncommon for the tide sweep and bring together all floating debris.
we should have had you doing a running narration throughout the 2nd season to explain all the inconsistencies and goofy timeline jumping
