i credit this movie...

for although it wasn't brilliant i did open me up to musicals. Because of this movie i was more into musicals, i actually watched Grease all the way through for the first time since i was 10! after i saw Grease i got into other films, ranging anywhere from My fair lady to Singin in the rain to moulin Rouge and to west side story. i saw many, many many. Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers have become one of my favourite (if not the favorite) dancing team on film. then i came back to where it all started when i looked on the bottom shelf of my DVD cabinet.i out on HSM and realized that it wasn't as good as i thought it was and i haven't watched it since.
but i'll always rememebr it as the film that opened me up to the amazing song and dances of the golden age musicals. maybe that's a plus for this movie.
