To be honest and I know I'm not the only one that thinks this-

HSM1 is the only good one.

I remember when everyone in my school was excited for HSM2 and then the next day we were all pissed off. HSM2 ruined it for the entire franchise.

When HSM3 came out the only ones that went to see it were little girls and their parents.

Me and my best friend had gone to see a movie. When we came out we snuck into see a little of it. To see if it was really that bad. We literally saw like three seconds of it and ran out.

HSM1 was the only good HSM movie.

No.

The ENTIRE franchise was bad. High School Musical 1 was just as bad as the rest of them. It is one of the worst movies ever made.

Yep they ruined it horribly by making a sequel. Boy, do i hate whoever idea that was.

It was nice to see the characters grow but HSM 1 was the best one IMO too!

I sort of agree. I was 15 when the first one came out and I adored it. The second one I liked purely for the Troy/Gabriella relationship parts (I didn't realize how ANNOYING Vanessa as an actress/Gabriella was until I watched it again a couple years later). The third one, though cheesy during certain parts, I enjoyed because it was like saying goodbye to the characters I'd grown a liking to. Plus they were graduating and I was in my senior year and it reminded me of my soon to be graduation as well. Call me cheesy, but these movies wil always be special to me in a way lol. They bring me back to a time when I was more naive and innocent. I guess it's similar to the reasons 30-40 year old women line up at midnight to watch Twilight.

I've never fooled anyone. I've let people fool themselves.
