I remember when these movies were a pop culture phenomenon, now they're forgotten and "played out"

I just saw it on DVD. It was OK. True time flies, the main stars will be hitting their 30's in a couple of years.

Actually, Lucas Grabeel (Ryan Evans) will be 30 in a few weeks and Ashley Tisdale (Ryan Evans) in a few months. Monique Coleman (Taylor McKessie) will be 34 in a few days.

I remember 2007-2008 when High School Musical was all the rage but now I guess the fanbase has 'grown up' so to speak. I rarely hear anything about it anymore. Same with Hannah Montana.
